The MP551 is a laboratory-grade, high-precision, multi-parameter benchtop electrochemical instrument. With this instrument, you can cover all aspects of water quality testing, including more than 10 electrochemical parameters such as pH, ion concentration, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen.

Features:

It complies with GLP requirements in line with international standards and is equipped with intelligent functions including
automatic calibration, automatic temperature compensation, data storage, RS232 output, clock display, function setting, and self-diagnostic information.

It offers three distinct measurement modes: Stable Display Mode, Timed Measurement Mode, and Continuous Measurement Mode.

It automatically recognizes 13 types of pH standard buffer solutions, with four series of standard buffer solutions available for selection: European & American series, NIST series, Chinese series, and custom solutions.

It comes standard with a high-end Swiss LabSen glass rechargeable combination electrode, featuring high-precision measurement, a long-life reference system, and a thick-film low-impedance glass membrane.

It can be set to high-purity water pH measurement mode and ammonia-added pure water pH measurement mode, meeting the application requirements of industries such as electric power and petrochemicals.

It includes an EH redox potential measurement mode, which directly displays the ORP value relative to the potential of the
standard hydrogen electrode (SHE).

It automatically recognizes 8 types of conductivity standard solutions, with two series of standard solutions available: European & American series and Chinese series.

Adopting advanced conductivity measurement technology, when used with a conductivity electrode of cell constant K=1, it requires only a single-point calibration to meet the measurement accuracy requirements for the range of 0.5μS/cm ~ 200 mS/cm.

It can switch between conductivity, TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), salinity, and resistivity measurements. TDS and salinity are calculated using polynomial algorithms to ensure conversion accuracy across the entire measurement range.

The conductivity measurement mode includes a non-linear temperature compensation function for high-purity water.

The dissolved oxygen measurement mode features automatic temperature compensation, automatic salinity compensation, and automatic atmospheric pressure compensation.

The patented-structured polarographic dissolved oxygen electrode can simultaneously measure temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen. When used with the dedicated dissolved oxygen electrode calibration sleeve, electrode polarization takes only 3–5 minutes.

The meter stores 10 commonly used ion modes for selection (Na⁺, F⁻, Cl⁻, Br⁻, I⁻, Cu²⁺, Ca²⁺, K⁺, NH₄⁺, NO₃⁻), and other ions can also be set manually.

It can switch between four ion concentration units: pX, mol/L, mg/L, and ppm. It comes standard with an intelligent stirrer that supports rotation speed memory, facilitating consistent measurement repeatability.

The meter meets the IP54 dust and splash protection rating, and all instrument interfaces are sealed and protected with silicone caps.
